The Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy functions in partnership with University and Penn Medicine management to anticipate and aggressively manage operational, financial, compliance, information technology and privacy risks; ensure the integrity of Penn’s systems of internal control; and ensure strong stewardship and management accountability at all levels. http://www.upenn.edu/oacp/

Duties

The Penn Medicine Internal Audit Manager provides leadership to the Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine Internal Audit staff. S/he oversees the execution of internal audits (operational, compliance, financial) and advisory services, providing project management over the annual Work Plan. Makes recommendations to increase the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the processes and controls reviewed. Is responsive to special requests and investigations as necessary, and provides strategic planning input to the annual risk assessment process and audit plan development. This position interacts with all levels of management throughout the University; participates in corporate initiatives, and represents the Penn Medicine Audit Director in her absence.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. CPA/ CIA certification required.
